We call it Calorie Chapel. It is our Kitchen Ministry where the hands that make the food bless us with truly incredible meals immediately following our Sunday Service. This is more than coffee and donuts, though that is how it all started. The servants of this ministry have assisted at weddings and within our other ministries in the church. We are quite blessed to have a fine collection of joyful workers that provide these full course meals. It is a sincere expression of ‘Acts’ like hospitality and feasting that provided so much of the early church fellowship mentioned in the Bible. The only time you will get a word in edgewise is when your neighbor takes a bite.

Scott Hemp and Jimmy Barnes are hosting a Bible study at the Barnes home 211 East Dearborne Street.  The study starts February 5th and meets every other Saturday.  The study is ‘The Nature of God’ a series from Gayle Erwin.
